Customers who frequent the Foxboro, MA Dunkin’ on Route 140 are likely familiar with Reggie St. Germain, and they may have even had their order paid for by him. Each time St. Germain visits his local Dunkin’, he pays for the order of the person in line in front or behind him. Whether at the counter or drive-thru, Dunkin’ guests are often pleasantly surprised to find a zero-balance order total thanks to St. Germain.
As a New England native, St. Germain has grown up with Dunkin’, his late mother even worked at a Dunkin’ location in Braintree. St. Germain was surprised when we wanted to interview him for our blog, and even more surprised at the buzz his acts of kindness received from local media. In fact, when St. Germain received a call from a local news station wanting to interview him, he was in the drive-thru line paying for the order of a police officer ahead of him!
“There’s a lot of hatred in the world and I want to spread some kindness. I love people, and to be able to give back makes me feel good,” said St. Germain. “The women in my family, from my mother to my wife and my daughters, have always put others before themselves and I’m so inspired by them.”
St. Germain’s wife and daughters have also been giving back during the pandemic, making face masks with clear windows for hard of hearing and deaf people to be able to still read lips. To date, they’ve made and shipped over 2,000 face masks all over the country.
We at Dunkin’ wanted to help St. Germain continue to bring joy to unsuspecting Dunkin’ customers in his community. So, we’re sending St. Germain two Dunkin’ gift cards, one to help him continue to pay it forward, and one to treat himself to Dunkin’ on us, although knowing St. Germain, he’ll use it to give back.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Dunkin’ has recognized the everyday heroes and people on the frontlines keeping their communities running like St. Germain. Want to thank a local hero for all that they do? Send them a Dunkin’ Gift Card at DunkinCoffeeBreak.com. For every card sent, Dunkin’ will donate $1, up to $100,000, to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation emergency funds, specifically for non-profits helping families affected by COVID-19.
