How a $1 Donation Supports Kids Like Aubree

How a $1 Donation Supports Kids Like Aubree

This October at Dunkin’ restaurants, a $1 donation to the Joy in Childhood Foundation can help provide the simple joys of childhood to kids who need it most. Kids like Aubree.

In September 2013, young Aubree received a diagnosis of High Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Despite needing cancer treatment, Aubree always has a smile on her face. One of Aubree’s dreams is to become a horseback rider, and she was able to get a little closer to that dream by participating in the Curing Kids Cancer Pony Days with the University of South Carolina Equestrian team. The Joy in Childhood Foundation gave a grant to make Pony Days possible for kids like Aubree so they can ride, groom and relax with the horses.

Now, Aubree has been cancer free for two and a half years. The Joy in Childhood Foundation is proud to support kids like Aubree, by creating joyful moments for children when facing difficult times. Learn more about the Foundation’s impact below:

This October, we are inviting our guests to join us in this mission. Through our annual “Community Cups” program, guests are welcome to donate to the Joy in Childhood Foundation in Dunkin’ restaurants across the country. Participants are given a paper icon showing that they gave joy, to sign and display at the restaurant or take home. As an additional thank you for guests’ support, the paper icon also includes a special coupon that can be redeemed for $1 off the purchase of a dozen donuts, which expires December 31, 2018.

Help us spread more joy to children who need it the most now through October 31! Head over to your local Dunkin’ today and you can help provide kids whose lives are compromised by hunger or sickness with opportunities to experience joy.
