Celebrate The Fourth of July With Dunkin’ Fruit Smoothies & a Refreshing New Recipe

The Fourth of July is one of our very favorite days of the year. The fireworks, the food, the family cookouts - what’s not to love? And we’ve got the perfect thing for you to sip on this holiday weekend: our new Fruit Smoothies.

Some of you may have been lucky enough to try our new smoothies earlier this year when we introduced them in select markets. Now, guests across the country can try the refreshing smoothies as we roll them out nationwide to participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants. There are two delicious flavors to choose from: Strawberry Banana and Tropical Mango. At 260 calories for a 16 oz. serving, both Smoothies are freshly prepared with real fruit and creamy low-fat yogurt.

Our new Fruit Smoothies are a great drink you can enjoy on-the-go as you get ready for all of the Fourth of July festivities. Or kick back, relax and enjoy one in the sunshine or as you watch some fireworks!

As if our new Fruit Smoothies aren’t delicious enough, we’ve also come up with another amazing way to enjoy them: as popsicles!  Make a few for the family to enjoy, or freeze a whole bunch to bring to your Fourth of July cookout. All you need for each one is a Dunkin’ Donuts Strawberry Banana Smoothie, a banana and a strawberry!

Strawberry Banana Fruit Smoothie Popsicles

  • 1 Small Dunkin’ Donuts Strawberry Banana Smoothie
  • 1 Banana, sliced
  • 1 Strawberry, sliced

    1. Slice a banana and strawberry. Place 1-2 slices of each in a popsicle mold.

    2. Pour the Dunkin’ Donuts Strawberry Banana Smoothie into the mold over the sliced fruit.

    3. Tap the mold on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

    4. Place popsicle sticks in the top of the mold and place in freezer. Freeze for 24 hours or until solid.

     5. Remove from the mold and enjoy!

The popsicle possibilities are endless. Switch up the recipe by adding in some blueberries along with the banana and strawberry slices for the perfect Red, White and Blue frozen treat. If you are feeling a little more exotic, try freezing a Dunkin’ Donuts Tropical Mango Smoothie with sliced mangos. Your favorite Coolata® flavors taste great as popsicles too! Add some blueberries to a Strawberry Coolatta® for another refreshing and festive popsicle option!
