You may be wondering, what is Daylight Savings Time, when does it start, and why do we have it? Here is a little bit of Daylight Savings Time history. This phenomenon will begin on Sunday, March 10, and end on Sunday, November 3. Daylight Savings Time (or DST) is the practice of advancing clocks one hour during March so that normal sunrise times are later and evening daylight lasts longer. We do this so that those who follow the standard 9-5 lifestyle will have an extra hour of daylight after typical workday activities end.
