Embodying the spirit of giving back that defines the holiday season, Dunkin’® is once again ready to spread joy and warmth through its seasonal menu, festive holiday cup designs, and of course – the charitable initiatives of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
This year, the Foundation and BARK are collaborating to introduce four new coffee and donut-inspired dog toy designs so guests and their pooches can enjoy a special treat from Dunkin’. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to contribute to this season’s spirit of generosity by making in-store donations to support the “Give Joy to Kids” initiative. Both of these fundraisers bolster the Foundation’s mission to bring joy to kids battling hunger or illness, supporting signature programs such as Dogs for Joy, Connecting Joy, Joyful Spaces and Dunkin’ Prom.
New Dunkin’ Joy Toys Unleashed!
For the fourth year in a row, Dunkin’ and BARK have reimagined the Dunkin’ experience from a dog’s perspective to create dog toy renditions of coffee, donuts and a breakfast sandwich, designed by BARK’s team. Starting November 1, these delightful canine-friendly versions of popular menu items will be available as a thank-you to guests who make a donation to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation this holiday season, either in-store or online.
Guests can stop by their local participating Dunkin’ restaurant to receive one of this year’s exclusive BARK toys with their generous donation:
- With every $13 donation, guests will receive a Dunkin’ Sausage, Egg and Cheese dog toy.
- With every $15 donation, guests will receive a Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Combo dog toy.
These dog toys are packed with crazy crinkle and squeakers, featuring elements like a tuggable t-shirt rope for dogs who love to whip and thrash.
Online donations can also be made at Bark.co, allowing customers to receive one of this year’s online-exclusive toys:
- With every $14 donation, guests will recieve a Dunkin' Mocha Latte dog toy.
- With every $15 donation, guests will receive a Dunkin’ Super Chewer MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats dog toy.
For a gift that keeps giving, dogs may find an extra surprise toy inside the Mocha Latte, while the Super Chewer MUNCHKINS® toy is designed with tough rubber cores for dogs who demand a challenge.
Donations directly benefit Foundation programs that bring joy to kids facing hunger or illness, including the Dogs for Joy™ program initiated in 2018 . This program introduces full-time facility dogs to children’s hospitals to comfort patients, ease stress and anxiety, and even assist in various aspects of medical treatments.
Since 2020, BARK and Dunkin’s collaboration has raised over $7 million. To date, the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation has funded 41 facility dogs across 30 hospitals, impacting hundreds of thousands of young patients.
Participate in the “Give Joy to Kids” Initiative
Throughout November, guests can donate $1 to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation at any Dunkin’ restaurant as part of the annual “Give Joy to Kids” fundraiser.
In gratitude, donors will receive a holiday donut-shaped lightbulb sticker to personalize and display on a special poster in-store. Plus, they will receive a coupon for a $1 medium hot coffee redeemable until December 31, 2023.
All proceeds from the “Give Joy to Kids” fundraiser will support the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s Community Impact and Signature Grants programs, including Dogs for Joy, Connecting Joy, Joyful Spaces, and the Teen Prom Program.
