“Alexa, order from Dunkin’ Donuts.” Yes, it’s now that easy to run on Dunkin’ with our new Dunkin’ Donuts Ordering skill for Amazon Alexa!
We are constantly innovating to bring our busy, on-the-go guests unparalleled convenience. Through our new integration of On-the-Go Mobile Ordering with Amazon Alexa, DD Perks® Rewards Members can now use voice ordering through an Alexa-enabled device to place a mobile order and then speed past the line for pick-up.
To get started, guests who have a DD Perks account and an Amazon account can link them together in the Alexa app once they open the skill. Simply say, “Alexa, order from Dunkin’ Donuts” and then follow the steps below:
- Select which Dunkin’ Donuts location you would like to order from. Locations you’ve recently ordered from will automatically be identified by Alexa.
- Place your order from among your Dunkin’ Donuts saved favorites.
- Chose how you’d like to pick up your order (in-store or drive-thru).
- Confirm your order details and select what time you’d like the order to be ready.
- Once you confirm the order, you can speed past the line for pick-up!
For a quick shortcut, you can also say, “Alexa, tell Dunkin’ Donuts to reorder my last saved favorite.” All payments will be processed using your DD Perks Rewards account on the Dunkin’ Mobile® App. If you do not have sufficient funds, you can reload your Perks-enrolled DD Card on the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
Looking to test your coffee IQ? In addition to our new Dunkin’ Donuts Ordering skill, last year we introduced the Dunkin’ Donuts Quiz, which allows users with an Alexa-enabled device to enjoy a unique quiz that includes freshly brewed questions on everything from hot and iced coffee facts and the history of coffee, to Dunkin’ knowledge and donut trivia. To play the quiz, guests can enable the Dunkin’ Donuts skill in the Alexa app and say “Alexa, play Dunkin’ Donuts Quiz.”
