Complete with a Dark Roast Coffee rub and wrapped bacon, this steak recipe, served with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus, is sure to be the accent to the perfect night for your Valentine. Ingredients:
- 2 Petite sirloins
- 2 Strips thick cut bacon
- 1 TBSP ground Dark Roast
- 1 TBSP brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Combine Dunkin’ Donuts Dark Roast Coffee and brown sugar in a bowl, and gently press bacon strips in mixture to coat both sides.
- Wrap bacon around sirloins and secure by tying butchers twine around the steak.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Preheat a sauté pan over medium high heat.
- Sear bacon by placing the steaks on their sides and rotating until the bacon is crisp on all sides.
- Sear each side of the steak until desired doneness is achieved (we prefer medium rare).
- Allow steak to rest away from the heat for five minutes then serve.
