Meet Our BranDD AmbassaDDor: Jared from Syracuse University!

Hey everyone! My name is Jared; I’m a native of St. Louis, Missouri, but am currently residing in fabulous Las Vegas! I am a junior at Syracuse University studying sport management and pursuing a career in the sport/entertainment industry where I plan to work in promotions, event production, and corporate partnerships. I love attending Syracuse because it offers the exposure of a large state school while providing the intimacy of a private institution. There is also a great balance of social life and academics here at SU. The university encourages its students to become well-rounded individuals by offering an unlimited amount of academic resources and a vast array of student organizations and fun activities.  Whether you’re a bookworm or a social butterfly, there’s something for everyone at ‘Cuse.

It’s great being a BranDD AmbassaDDor for Dunkin’ because it allows me to get involved with certain aspects of campus life that I wouldn’t have been necessarily into otherwise. Through this position I get to experience college life from a different perspective. Take football games for example: I’ve been to several games over the years, but through Dunkin’ I was truly immersed in the game day experience. We’ve been participating in the huge tailgate that the university puts on before each game, where we give out free donuts and sign fans up for DD Perks®. This is an especially cool experience for me as a sport management major because it allows me to experience the activation of corporate partnerships and sport marketing first hand.

I am also promoting the Dunkin’ brand on campus through word of mouth and by partnering with different student organizations (follow my DD story on Instagram, username: Cuse_dd_rep). In the upcoming weeks I’m going to be tabling, showing up at philanthropy events, and even surprising some club meetings with Dunkin’ to show that we appreciate their contribution to the student body.

That’s pretty much it for now; make sure to keep checking in for more updates from SU and the other ambassaDDors!

Best,

Jared
