The DDBRCF Reaches New Milestones in 2015

Last year was a big year for The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Foundation (DDBRCF), and our franchisees and volunteers accomplished some incredible things! The DDBRCF hit a milestone and raised $3.4 million, which was made possible by the more than 30 fundraising events led by the eight Regional DDBRCF Chapters, as well as the generosity of our franchisees, employees and guests. Dunkin’ Brands Chairman and CEO Nigel Travis said it best, “We are passionate about helping people live better – one neighborhood at a time.”

The DDBRCF distributed 115 grants, united 1,600 volunteers, raised $3.4 million, and provided 745,000 meals through grants to Feeding America.  Our work to support children’s hunger programs also made big strides this past year.  In 2015, The DDBRCF awarded 68 children’s health grants totaling almost $760,000. This money funded projects such as the opening of the new DDBRCF Care Room for Children at SUNY Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Additionally, in an effort to make our communities safer places to live, work and play, more than $220,000 was donated to support America’s servicemen and women, firefighters and police officers.

In addition to The DDBRCF, Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins franchisees donated $4.5 million to local organizations benefitting hunger relief, children’s health, and safety initiatives.  To learn more about everything the DDBRCF accomplished in 2015, check out our Neighborhood Impact Report. As we approach the 10th anniversary of The DDBRCF, we look forward to achieving even greater impact in our local communities!
