The Story Behind Dunkin’s Blueberry Muffin

The Story Behind Dunkin’s Blueberry Muffin

Today is National Blueberry Muffin Day! We are of course celebrating with our classic Dunkin’ Blueberry Muffin and sharing the story behind this beloved baked good. Did you know that our Blueberry Muffin has been on the menu since Dunkin’ first opened its doors in 1950? At that time, this sweet treat only cost 10 cents!

Each year, we use about 5 million pounds of wild and cultivated blueberries sourced from the U.S. to make our Blueberry Muffins. While guests across the country adore our Blueberry Muffins, the state of Massachusetts has the largest passion for them.

Are you craving a Blueberry Muffin now? Be sure to stop by your local Dunkin’ to celebrate the day the right way. While you’re there, grab a Blueberry Crisp Signature Latte! It is the perfect pairing for this blueberry-filled day.
