CANTON, Mass. (October 21, 2010) – As ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all ages prepare for Halloween, Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, has scared up a host of Halloween delights to make Halloween parties and trick-or-treating extra sweet. Dunkin’ Donuts’ frightfully delicious Halloween lineup, available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide through the end of October, includes:
· The Boston Scream Donut returns! Dunkin’ Donuts’ “scary” variation of its popular Boston Kreme donut features a traditional Boston Kreme Donut decorated with orange icing drizzle. The Boston Scream Donut is available at the suggested retail price of 89 cents. Participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants also feature additional Halloween decorated donuts.
· Looking for the perfect snack to bring to a Halloween party? Dunkin’ Donuts special Fall Munchkins® donut hole treats, dipped in autumn nonpareils, are sure to make party guests shriek with delight. These affordable treats are available at the suggested retail price of $4.99 for a 25 count box and $6.49 for a 50 count box.
· Dunkin’ Donuts is also making it easy for parents to accessorize their kids’ Halloween costumes with an exclusive new Dunkin’ Donuts trick-or-treat bag available in select markets at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants. The bag is free with the purchase of a 50 count box of Munchkins® donut hole treats or a dozen donuts.
· For parents seeking a seasonal boost to prepare for a long night of trick-or-treats, Dunkin’ Donuts’ hot or iced pumpkin coffees and lattes – along with pumpkin muffins and donuts – remain available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.
Finally, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a “trick-or-tweet” promotion for the chance to win a Dunkin’ Donuts Card. Beginning today through October 29 “followers” of @DunkinDonuts on Twitter are invited to share photos of their own jack-o-lantern carvings, using the special hashtag #carveDD. At the end of the week, Dunkin’ Donuts will pick the top pumpkins deemed most creative, which will earn $60 Dunkin’ Donuts cards.
“Dunkin’ Donuts’ lineup of delicious seasonal foods, beverages and limited-time promotions truly capture the spirit of fun this Halloween,” said John Costello, Chief Global Customer and Marketing Officer at Dunkin’ Brands. “Whether you’re hosting a party or just looking to keep yourself running during your busy day, Dunkin' Donuts’ has everything you need to enjoy the holiday.”
