"Who Brought the Donuts?" Sweepstakes and Mobile Marketing Tour Visits 13 U.S. Cities

Randolph, MA (February 26, 2003) -- Beginning this week, the Dunkin' Donuts delivery squad may be rolling to a location near you! The "Who Brought the Donuts?" tour will visit 13 cities between February 26 and March 20, 2003. The mobile marketing tour, in combination with radio promotions, will drive participation in the national "Who Brought the Donuts?" on-box instant-win sweepstakes which began at Dunkin' Donuts shops on Monday, February 17, 2003.

The "Who Brought the Donuts" tour, in addition to awarding radio winners with free boxes of donuts, will surprise unsuspecting local citizens with free dozens of Dunkin' Donuts donuts.

"We developed 'Who Brought the Donuts?' because our customers tell us that bringing a box of Dunkin' Donuts donuts to an office meeting, party, school or community event is a regular occurrence that brings smiles and laughter to the occasion."

Sweepstakes and Contest Details
The first component of the "Who Brought the Donuts?" program is an on-box, instant-win sweepstakes to win a trip anywhere in the world. The sweepstakes began nationwide on February 17 and ends on March 31, 2003. Customers can peel & reveal a game panel on half-dozen and dozen donut boxes. The grand prize of a trip for four to anywhere is provided by Orbitz.com.

Consumers will have additional chances to win more great prizes at www.Orbitz.com/DunkinDonuts. The sweepstakes and in-store promotion was designed by WatersMoliter, a Minneapolis-based company.

Simultaneously, the "Who Brought the Donuts?" mobile marketing tour will draw additional attention to the sweepstakes and provide more ways for customers to win. Customers will be able to call-in to participating radio stations for a chance to win a delivery of a dozen donuts. A fully-outfitted "Who Brought the Donuts?" van with brightly colored graphics and a large donut on the roof will roll into each market delivering dozens of donuts to winning consumers. Deliveries to winners and surprise deliveries to local citizens will occur throughout the mornings and afternoons that the tour is in-market. Pierce Promotions and Event Management, Inc. is staffing and managing the 13-city Dunkin' Donuts mobile marketing tour.

The tour schedule and stops are as follows: Philadelphia (Feb. 26, 27), Baltimore (Feb. 27), Washington DC (Feb. 28), Boston (March 3, 4), Chicago (March 3, 4), Providence (March 5, 6), Detroit (March 6, 7), Hartford (March 7, 10), Albany (March 10, 11), Atlanta (March 10, 11), Orlando (March 13, 14), Tampa (March 17) and Miami/Fort Lauderdale (March 19, 20).

The "Who Brought the Donuts?" campaign includes TV, radio, promotional donut-boxes, in-store displays, guerilla marketing and public relations.
