In the spirit of heralding the holidays earlier than ever, Dunkin’ today revealed its new seasonal menu and holiday cups. To extend the spirit of the season to those who need it most, the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation invites Dunkin’ guests to bring joy and brighten the season for children battling hunger or illness through the “Brighten the Season” program.
Beginning November 3 through November 30, guests who visit a Dunkin’ restaurant can donate $1 to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Guests can also donate through the Dunkin’ App when placing a mobile order at a participating Dunkin’ restaurant between November 10 and December 31.*
As a thank you for sharing the love, those who donate in-store will receive a holiday lightbulb-shaped sticker that they can write their name on and display on a special poster in-store. Guests who donate will also receive a coupon that can be redeemed for $1 off the purchase of a dozen donuts, which will expire on December 31, 2021.
“The mission of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation is to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness,” said Victor Carvalho, Dunkin’ Franchisee and Co-Chair of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. “Thanks to the funds raised during the ‘Brighten the Season’ program, the Foundation will be able to continue supporting food banks, children’s hospitals, and nonprofit organizations directly serving the kids who need and deserve it most.”
Have a pup? The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation is asking pet parents, or paw-rents, to dress up their dogs for the holidays to help bring joy and increase awareness for the "Brighten the Season” fundraiser. It’s easy to join in!
- Step 1: Dress your dog(s) up in holiday garb – bonus points for including Dunkin’!
- Step 2: Post between now and November 30 with information about the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood’s “Brighten the Season” fundraiser. Tag @joyinchildhood and use the #dogsbrightentheseason hashtag.
- Step 3: If you’re posting an Instagram story, use the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood fundraising sticker by searching for “donation”, which will pull up a searchable list of charities. Start typing Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and a sticker will pop up that you can add to your story!
The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation will be reposting photos and giving shoutouts throughout the holiday season.
