If one thing’s for certain, dogs create a lot of cheer. That’s why the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation is asking pet parents, or paw-rents, to dress up their dogs for the holidays to help bring joy and increase awareness for the “Give Cheer” fundraiser, which has raised over $1.5 million in just one month!
We’re asking Dunkin’ fans around the country to join us in helping to spread the word and raise funds in support of the Foundation’s mission to bring joy to kids battling illness or hunger. It’s easy to join in! The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation will be reposting photos and giving shoutouts throughout the holiday season.
To help us give cheer:
- Step 1: Dress your dog(s) up in holiday garb – bonus points for including Dunkin’!
- Step 2: Post between now and November 30 with information about the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood’s “Give Cheer” fundraiser. Tag @joyinchildhood and use the #dogsgivecheer hashtag.
- Step 3: If you’re posting an Instagram story, use the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood fundraising sticker by searching for “donation”, which will pull up a searchable list of charities. Start typing Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and a sticker will pop up that you can add to your story!
Even if you don’t have a pup, you can get involved in giving cheer this season by donating at bringjoy.org. Donations are also being accepted at participating Dunkin' restaurants around the country or via the Dunkin' App through December 2.
In 2020, the Joy in Childhood Foundation will grant more than $4 million and has granted over $26 million since its inception. To learn more about the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and the “Give Cheer” program, visit https://www.bringjoy.org/.
