Keeping America Runnin’: Family-Owned Dunkin’ Restaurants in Massachusetts Donate Coffee and Debut Signs of Encouragement

First responders and healthcare professionals have been working tirelessly on the frontlines of the coronavirus (COVID-19) response for several months. While these heroes continue to fight the pandemic, siblings and Dunkin’ franchisees Bill Daly, Jr., Tom Daly, and Beth Brulport who own and operate 14 restaurants throughout New Bedford, Massachusetts, wanted to show their support for their selfless efforts.

The siblings and their restaurant employees have been donating coffee to the late-shift medical staff at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Mass. The siblings also extended the hours later into the evening of one of their Dunkin’ locations closest to the hospital to continue to supply coffee to the medical staff at the times when they need it most.

In addition to the donations, Bill Daly, Jr. came up with an idea to display large banners with words of encouragement outside of their Dunkin’ locations. “There are so many healthcare professionals and first responders working around the clock to protect our community during this pandemic. “We’ve got your back” isn’t just a slogan, it’s a mantra we live by at Dunkin’ during this crisis and beyond,” said Bill Daly, Jr. The siblings are continuing to serve those who serve during a difficult time for all.
