This holiday season, we’re all looking for a little extra joy and of course, some fun, new recipes to try while staying home. Dunkin’ Brands CEO Dave Hoffmann and celebrity Chef Ming Tsai are teaming up to bring a cheerful virtual experience to Dunkin’ and Ming Tsai fans, all for a good cause!
During a live Instagram cook along tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9, at 5:00 p.m. ET, viewers can learn about the impact of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and are encouraged to make a donation that will help benefit kids battling hunger or illness. Dunkin’ will make a 100% match for every donation made through the Instagram fundraiser button for the 24 hours that follow, up to $50,000.
Culinary fans who tune in to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s Instagram page for the special live session will learn how to incorporate classic Dunkin’ ingredients into new recipes created by Chef Tsai. Ming Tsai is the Chef and Owner of the award-winning restaurant Blue Dragon in Boston, MA. He is the host and executive producer of the public television cooking show Simply Ming, a frequent contributor to the Food Network, author of five cookbooks, and most recently the founder of MingsBings.
Our Dunkin’ Instagram fans have helped us select some of the items Chef Tsai will be cooking with through a virtual poll, with the winning ingredients including a glazed donut and double shot of espresso.
