Calling all Dunkin’ coffee lovers! Did you see that we recently announced the launch of Extra Charged Coffee, and our Dunkin’ Midnight and Explorer Batch coffees? With a coffee lineup so buzzy, we’re going behind the beans with our culinary team to break down everything you need to know about these must-try sips. Keep reading for the inside scoop on Explorer Batch, then head over to our blog posts on Extra Charged Coffee and Dunkin’ Midnight!
Here at Dunkin’, we’re thrilled to be kicking off our new Limited Batch Series with a bold new hot coffee option: Explorer Batch. This blend offers a medium roast cup of coffee with dark berry notes and a smoky finish. The coffee beans featured in this blend come from Sumatra, Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala, representing the four major coffee growing regions around the world. Fun fact: this is the very first time in Dunkin’ history that we’ve offered coffee with beans sourced from Sumatra and Ethiopia. Get ready to take your taste buds on a journey, because Explorer Batch is truly an adventure in each sip.
Now you may be wondering how Explorer Batch compares to our beloved Original Blend. According to Heidi Curry, Senior Manager of Research & Development, and Janet Rock, Research & Development Manager, here at Dunkin’, our Original Blend offers a medium-light roast and sweet, caramel-forward flavor, whereas Explorer Batch is more of a medium roast with a full, earthy, and smoky flavor.
So, what’s the Limited Batch Series all about? Well, starting with Explorer Batch, we’ll be rotating a variety of unique, limited-time-only coffees at Dunkin’. We know our guests have adventurous palettes, so we’re excited to take them on this flavor journey with us. We’ve got much more in store as part of the Limited Batch Series, so make sure to stay tuned for what’s next!
Explorer Batch is only around for a limited time, so head over to your local Dunkin’ to try it today and let us know what you think on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok!
